4 – How can you manage cookies?
All browsers allow the user to accept, refuse, or delete cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in the respective browser. You can configure cookies in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser.
However, it should be noted that by disabling cookies, you may prevent some web services from working properly, affecting, partially or totally, navigation on the website. In addition, disabling cookies does not grant you any anonymity or prevent websites from tracking your search habits.
Internet Explorer cookie settings
To disable all cookies in Internet Explorer, please do the following:
1) Click on the “Tools” menu and choose the “Internet Options” option;
2) Select the “Privacy” tab;
3) Move the bar to the top where it will say “Block all cookies”.
Firefox cookie settings
To disable all cookies in Mozilla Firefox, do the following:
Click on the “Tools” menu;
Select “Options”;
Click on the “Privacy” icon in the upper panel;
In the “Cookies” section, disable the “Accept cookies from sites” option;
Click “OK” to save the changes and close.
Cookie settings in Chrome
Click on “Customise and Control Google Chrome” (symbol);
Select the “Tools” option;
Click on “Clear browsing data”;
In the selection box, “Clear the following items from:” choose the “since always” option;
Select the first 4 options and click “Clear browsing data”.
Cookie settings in Safari web and iOS
Click on “Edit”;
Select “Preferences”;
In the top panel, select the “Security” icon;
In the “Accept Cookies” section, select “Never.
